Who Lives in Your Home?

Who Lives in Your Home?
You have to get a complete picture of your possessions. One of the simplest ways is to find out what you have in your home, what you haven’t used in years and what needs to be fixed or donated. Choose a day to visit every room in your home. This includes the basement, garage and shed. Buy a big clip board, have a pen ready, wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Start with the most disorganized and bothersome room. Write down everything that is broken and needs to be recycled or trashed. Old TVs come to mind, toasters, microwave ovens, radios, broken toys, sports equipment, ripped or soiled clothes and chipped china.
These items are not worth fixing. If in good condition, consider donating to the local charity.

Happy Downsizing!
