Practical Tips to Sell Your House
Before you put the sign for sale, check your front yard first. Your home should look as good outside as it does inside. This is where all potential buyers form their opinion, there is no second chance. You want them to drop by not drive by. List all the things that need to be improved, fixed, changed, organized or cleaned.
• Define your boundaries, the potential buyers like to know exactly what they are getting for their money.
• Mow your grass; there is nothing more unappealing then knee high grass in the front or back of your house.
• Clear the driveway and remove the toys, hoses, garbage cans or anything else that could be obstacle in getting to your front door.
• Check the lighting front and back of your house. If you can’t see your house numbers change them.
• Check the exterior paint on your house, paint is not door and don’t forget to add a new welcome mat.expensive but does a lot to improve the look.
• Clean the front door, light fixture and all the widows. Put flower pots on each side of your front. Roll out the brand new welcome mat. At this pint the door bell should be fixed.
